How you carry the gun is up to you. Part of the strap adjustment allows you to raise or lower the holster to the right location for you. The strap hooks on our Glock 23 shoulder holster anchor the holster to the belt, distributing weight better but also keeping the gun tight to the body and aiding concealment.
