There aren't too many models of 1911 paddle holster that don't compromise in some way. Believe it or not, making a better holster design is harder than one might think. Some paddle holsters have a great holster, but the paddle attachment is weak. Sometimes the attachment is uncomfortable.

A good number of 1911 paddle holsters lack adjustable retention or rely on a thumb break as the sole point of retention.
